History & Focus
Founded by David L. Critelli in 1998, PLC Trenching is affiliated with Power Line Constructors, a 50-year-old industrial electrical contracting company. PLC Trenching got its start in telecommunication installations and shortly after emerged into heavy highway underdrain installations. It was in 2003 when PLCT began its journey into the renewable energy market. Twenty-one million trench feet later, PLCT is now known as a premier national trenching contractor with a focus on new utility-scale wind and solar power generation construction. Though our primary emphasis is in the renewable energy markets, PLCT maintains its capabilities to perform in the telecommunication and heavy highway market segments.
