Telecommunication Infrastructure

Where it started

PLC Trenching has completed numerous telecommunication projects one of which included the installation of 46 ducts simultaneously in one trench near Boston Massachusetts. Another consisted of the installation of concrete encased ducts along 57 miles of Interstate 70 West of Denver Colorado. With the excavation of the trench, installation of utilities and the backfill of select materials all taking place at the same time, disruption is kept to a minimum which is very important along highways or railroads where many of these installations are located. With the conduits being placed mechanically as the encasement or backfill is being placed, the conduits end up being very straight which makes installation of the communications cable much more productive.

Being innovative plays a crucial role in our success.
